Abatis (UK) Ltd was invited by the British Government (UKTI) to exhibit on the “Technology is Great” stand at the RSA Security Conference in San Diego from 29 February to 4 March as one of the most innovative British Cyber Security companies. We jumped at the chance and our sincere thanks go to Andy Williams: the UK Cyber Envoy, and the wider San Francisco Consulate team.
RSA is where the best and most innovative security practitioners go to display their wares.
There were some very interesting exhibits such as the NSA stand, which showed an enigma machine from the second World War, a clear reminder of the international co-operation between the USA, UK and Poland.
At RSA the quality, diversity, smart and challenging audience is like no other. The world goes on outside in terms of the attacks that never stop coming, but for Abatis at least, it is great to know that our innovative technology message is not lost amongst the sheer marketing noise and volume.
Abatis put across its innovative, patented and award-winning technology to anyone who came within grabbing distance of the stand, and they all went away with a new understanding and appreciation of our capabilities.
The informed audience of RSA who dropped by the UK Pavilion found Abatis to have a credible and unique solution as did our colleagues and partner companies (the best of the best on the UKTI stand). New friendships and a deepened UK/US relationship have been forged as part of this mission.
We all proved this week that British companies still have an important place, front and centre, at the highest security table and we look forward to deepening the relationships with our prospective US customers and colleagues.
